The International Summer School on “The Problems of the New Europe” focuses each year on the most salient issues of European integration. For the last 15 years, more than 100 among students, scholars, civil servants and young researchers gathered each year in Gorizia in order to participated to seminars, conferences and workshop activities on specific aspects of the New Europe.
The International Summer School of Gorizia is organised by the Institute of International Sociology of Gorizia (ISIG) and the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Triest, in collaboration with the Italian Association of Sociology-AIS, the Central European Initiative-CEI, the International University Institute for European Studies-IUIES and the University of Westminister.
